Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your use of CWiLO services operated by CWiLO Connections LLC. By using CWiLO, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

CWiLO helps people schedule personal messages and consent-based check-ins. CWiLO is not an emergency, medical-monitoring, or public-safety service. Do not rely on it to contact emergency services or to prevent harm.

3. Accounts and acceptable use

You must provide accurate information, protect access to your device and account, and use CWiLO only lawfully. You may not impersonate others, send abusive or unlawful content, interfere with the service, or use another person's phone number without authorization.

4. One-time verification text program

When you enter your phone number and select Send Code, you expressly request one transactional SMS from CWiLO containing a verification code. Message frequency varies and is typically one message per request or resend. Message and data rates may apply. CWiLO does not send marketing messages through this program.

Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. You may also contact business@cwiloapp.com or +1 323-251-0570. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages, and delivery is not guaranteed. Consent to marketing messages is not a condition of purchase.

5. Subscriptions

Paid features, prices, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are presented before purchase and are also governed by the applicable app store's terms. Recipients of a CWiLO check-in are not charged by CWiLO to respond.

6. Content, consent, and ownership

You retain ownership of content you submit and grant CWiLO the limited rights needed to operate the service. You are responsible for having permission to contact other people. Recipients may pause or revoke check-in consent as provided by the service. CWiLO and its software, branding, and design remain owned by CWiLO or its licensors.

7. Availability and termination

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features and may restrict accounts that violate these terms, create risk, or are required to be restricted by law. You may stop using CWiLO at any time.

8. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, CWiLO is provided "as is" and without implied warranties. CWiLO Connections LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.

9. Governing law and changes

California law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where local law requires otherwise. We may update these terms and will post the revised effective date here. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
